Wow. An interesting article.
ReplyDeleteThis addresses the ethical issues of equipoise and the obligation by researchers not to withhold known superior interventions from trial subjects.
The key question is, at what point is equipoise lost? Clearly there are no standard guidelines for this, nor can there be.
